Book Arts Class

Curiously Strong:

Create a Collage Book to fit in an Altoids Tin

Sunday, March 31, 10 am to 2 pm

New Museum of Los Gatos

106 E. Main St., Los Gatos

Come learn how to transform an Altoids tin into an artistic container for a mini accordion book.  You'll learn how to create covers and the pages for your book.  Various enhancements, such as pop-ups, stitched attachments and a book-within-a-book will be demonstrated so your book truly expresses your creativity.  This class is suitable for new and experienced artists.  Appropriate for ages 14 and up.  I will provide tins, special glue, pre-cut book board, colorful papers and collage images.  Students need to bring their own scissors, 1/4" to 1/2" wide brushes (for glue), glue sticks, pencil, a snack and an apron if you want to protect your clothes.

Come join me at the Printer's Fair on April 27th from 10 am to 34 pm.

I will be selling my artist books, paper art and snarky greeting cards.  All the info you need is displayed in the poster above!  Hope to see you there.
